White Shark Games

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

In short: FOLDEAD does not ask for an account, does not track you and does not send your gameplay anywhere. Your saves stay on your computer. If you email us, we use your email only to reply.

Who we are

This policy covers the games made by White Shark Games, including FOLDEAD, and the website whitesharkgames.com. White Shark Games is responsible for the data described here. You can reach us at hello@whitesharkgames.com.

Our games

Steam

Our games are sold and run through Steam, which is operated by Valve Corporation. Your Steam account, purchases, achievements and Steam Cloud data are handled by Valve under the Steam Privacy Policy. We do not get your payment details. Steam gives developers only aggregated, anonymous sales and usage reports.

This website

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you, and we keep it only as long as the conversation needs it. We never sell it or share it for marketing.

If we ever start a newsletter, we will add you only if you sign up and confirm, and every email will have an unsubscribe link.

Discord, YouTube and TikTok

Our community pages on Discord, YouTube and TikTok are run by those companies under their own privacy policies. We see only what those platforms show to any page owner, such as your public username and messages.

Children

FOLDEAD is a horror game and is not made for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@whitesharkgames.com and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change how our games or website handle data (for example, by adding online features), we will update this page and the date at the top.
